The BRC company search is based on a phonetic search. Each company in their Business Register has generated key(s) for their names, and the parameter from customers is transformed into a comparable key.
Then the search engine returns rows which have a score >=80%.
Wildcards will be accepted, but they will not affect the generation of key to the parameter (i.e; BRC does not adjust the result to wildcards).
The algorithm in use is "Contains Phrase".
